Getting to the Pune airport took over an hour this morning. Traffic was horrible (so what's new in India?), but we got there in plenty of time. As I mentioned before, this is not a tourist destination, so it's interesting getting through all the bureaucracy when they're not used to dealing with foreigners. We had a very helpful airport employee who basically took us through every step. Very nice! These are just some parting shots of Pune as we took off. They don't look fuzzy because of my terrible photography skills--it really is that smoggy and hazy, and this was on a pretty good day.
