At Sarah's request, I am putting lots of pictures on these posts.
I've always thought the name Abu Dhabi sounded so exotic, and I've always imagined it would look like some glamorous oasis in the desert, right on the Persian Gulf. What I saw from the airplane as we took off was very different from what was in my head. I must have missed the good part on the flight in (I was asleep)!
Nothing but flat desert and roads.
