If you've never seen the movie Gandhi, I highly recommend it. To me, it was a moving portrayal and tribute to this great man. Being in this place where he was confined by the British government, where he worked, walked, and mourned, filled me with a great sense of history and respect.
Their ashes are buried here, as are some of Gandhi's.
